In his new role as executive chef, Wesley Rosati will oversee the culinary operation for the award-winning resort, which is situated in Loudoun County, Virginia, near historic Leesburg.  This includes leading a team of 80 culinary professionals, and establishing the culinary direction for the resort�s restaurants On the Potomac, Riverside Hearth, and Stonewalls Tavern, as well as overseeing the Golf Club at Lansdowne and an extensive social and corporate banquet operation.

Wes Rosati was previously banquet chef at Lansdowne Resort.  In this role he managed a large kitchen operation for the expansive banquet program at the resort, which includes social, corporate and entertainment food and beverage events.  

Chef Rosati joined Lansdowne Resort in 2003, initially as a cook, and was quickly promoted to lead cook and then to sous chef for the resort�s Golf Club at Lansdowne when it opened in 2005.  Prior to joining Lansdowne Resort, Chef Rosati served in culinary positions of increasing responsibility for restaurants in California, North Carolina and Virginia.

Wes Rosati was influenced at an early age by the art of foraging local ingredients for maximum freshness and the richest flavors.  He believes in using what�s in season, whether vegetables, fruit or protein selections, to enhance the guests� dining experience, changing menus up to six times per year to reflect this.  

Following graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the completion of an American Culinary Federation Apprenticeship Program, Wes Rosati traveled to some of the world�s most renowned culinary destinations, including Paris, the South of France, Rome, Central and Southern Italy, Montreal, and the Sonoma and Russian River wine regions in California.   He has twice cooked at the storied James Beard House in New York City, serving as part of a specialized culinary team.   Chef Rosati resides with his family in Loudoun County, Virginia.
