China Huaming Signs Shangri-La Hotels to Operate a 400 room Hotel
in the Park Huaming Business Center in Moscow

June 18, 2009 - Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Asia Pacific�s leading luxury hotel group, has signed an agreement with China Huaming International Investment Corporation (CHMIIC) to manage a hotel in Moscow, which will be the group�s first property in Russia. 

Set to open in 2012, the 400-room hotel will occupy the top floors of a 42-story tower in the Park Huaming Business Centre� a new major multi-purpose development in the northeast of the city. Next to the Botanical Gardens on Vilgelma Pika Street, the property is located 10 kilometers (6 miles) from Red Square and 25 kilometers (15 miles) from the international airport. 

The hotel guestrooms will have a minimum size of 40 square meters (430 square feet) and each room will have views of the development�s Chinese landscaped gardens or the Botanical Gardens. Diverse dining outlets will include Chinese and Russian restaurants. A 1,200-square-meter (12,918-square-foot) grand ballroom, a 700-square-meter (7,535-square-foot) auditorium and a wide range of function rooms suited will cater to events. Recreational facilities will include an indoor swimming pool and health club. 

The Park Huaming Business Centre, Moscow will include an office tower, service apartments, an exhibition hall and a lifestyle area featuring a Chinese garden with pavilions, restaurants, retail shops, as well as leisure and entertainment facilities.
