The JW Marriott Hotel Miami Receives ‘Hotel of the Year’
From Marriott International
Miami, FL (June 15, 2009) – The JW Marriott Hotel Miami has been recognized as Marriott International’s ‘Hotel of the Year’ for 2009. It is the second time the property has earned the recognition within North American-based JW Marriott hotels. The award is bestowed by the international hotel company for outstanding results in Overall Guest Satisfaction, Leadership Excellence, and Overall Associate Satisfaction.
Marriott follows a strict regimen of guidelines and standards in recognizing a property as ‘Hotel of the Year’ in their specific category. The award recognizes the best of the Marriott brands, properties with reputations for excellence and overall success.
“This award is a wonderful honor,” adds Florencia Rotemberg, General Manager. “To be singled out from so many excellent properties is a testament to the dedicated team of professionals, who without their constant commitment this award would not have been achieved.”
The amenity-rich JW Marriott Hotel Miami rises 22 stories from the heart of the financial district on prestigious Brickell Avenue and boasts 300 elegantly appointed guest rooms. The hotel blends the features of a premiere conference and meeting facility with timeless elegance, thoughtful amenities and award-winning service.
“I applaud the efforts of our team for providing the superior guest experience which has clearly earned the recognition of our peers,” adds Rotemberg. “While we always strive for excellence, it is always a particular privilege to be singled.”
Dining options at the JW Marriott Miami feature choices ranging from the American breakfast cuisine of Isabela’s Restaurant, to the casual fare at La Terraza Café & Bar, to a truly fine dining experience at The Trapiche Room. Those seeking a delicious cocktail in an elegant setting can enjoy Drake’s, our English style lounge.
Total relaxation is as close as the luxurious Spa 1111, along with the property’s well-equipped fitness center and the unique stainless steel pool. Among the list of the hotel’s prestigious accolades are the 2008 & 2009 Wine Spectator Award for The Trapiche Room and being a part of the Resorts and Great Hotels Magazine in 2008.
