Hotel Equities Celebrates Grand Re-Opening of the Hampton Inn, Dalton, Georgia
Atlanta, GA–May 28, 2009 – Atlanta-based Hotel Equities (HE) recently celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of the124-room Hampton Inn located at 1000 Market Street in Dalton, Georgia with a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by Fred Cerrone, Hotel Equities President and CEO. Debbie Parsons serves as the General Manager.
Hotel Equities purchased the hotel in 2008 from Chattanooga-based Hospitality Lodging Associates who retained an ownership stake in the property. As part of the acquisition, HE entered into a long-term contract to manage the hotel.
Steve Crabill, Vice President of Franchise Development, represented Hilton Hotels at the event. Curt Howe, Hotel Managing Director, and Carroll Howe, Hospitality Lodging Associates, helped to cut the ceremonial ribbon.
“We are excited about the Grand Re-Opening of the Hampton Inn – Dalton,” said HE President and CEO Fred Cerrone. “Although the property opened 20 years ago, it now looks and feels like a new hotel. It is a stand-out in our award-winning portfolio.”
At the event, Hotel Equities President and CEO Fred Cerrone recognized and welcomed a number of local dignitaries including David Pennington, Mayor of Dalton; Brian Anderson, President & CEO, Dalton Chamber of Commerce; Margaret Thigpen, Executive Director of the Dalton Area Convention & Visitors Bureau; Mike Babb, Chairman, Whitfield County Board of Commissioners; Mike Cowan and Randy Waskul, Whitfield County Board of Commissioners and Veronica French, Executive Director of the Dalton Downtown Development Authority.
Guests of the Hampton Inn hotel enjoy amenities such as a complimentary hot breakfast bar, free local calls, sports court, fitness facility, business center and our outdoor pool.
The hotel provides free Internet access in all rooms. All spacious guest rooms include irons, ironing boards, hair dryers, coffee makers, refrigerators, 32” screen TVs and microwaves.
