Guest-Tek Installs High-Definition In-Room Entertainment
System at the Radisson Hotel Saskatoon
CALGARY, Alberta, Canada, June 24, 2009 --- Guest-Tek Interactive Entertainment Ltd., ("Guest-Tek") (TSX:GTK), along with Shaw Communications Inc. and HotelSolutions, has installed a new high-definition (HD) in-room entertainment system (IRES) at the Radisson Hotel Saskatoon. This solution, provided over Shaw coax lines, represents the first HD Free-to-Guest (FTG) television system installed in Canada. Now hoteliers have an option to provide a cost-effective digital IRES while allowing their guests to enjoy all the benefits this digital technology provides over traditional analog television. "Guest-Teks FTG HD solution over coax provides a solid option for hoteliers across Canada to provide the products their guests have come to expect," said Arnon Levy, CEO of Guest-Tek. "We strive to identify innovative ways to deliver our product so that all parties are happy with the final result and by, working with other technology partners, we can deliver on that goal. We are extremely pleased with the product and service and have seen that reflected in our guests comments as well, states Trevor Newton, Director of Purchasing at Silverbirch Hotels & Resorts. It was important to find a solution that provided our guests a high quality in-room entertainment experience while balancing our budget goals. The Radisson Hotel Saskatoon is the first Canadian hotel to install an HD solution by Guest-Tek using Shaw Cable. All 291 guest rooms will be equipped with the latest LG televisions through HotelSolutions. The solution doesnt require an in-room device (ie. Set Top Box) due to the decryption management card in the TV, thus allowing the channel lineup to be controlled at the TV. About Guest-Tek
