Atlanta, GA–April 30, 2009 – Atlanta-based Hotel Equities (HE) announced the development of an 80-key Hampton Inn & Suites in Marathon Key, Florida.  Peter Rosasco, principal member of Sundance Resort & Marina, LLC, is the joint venture partner working with Hotel Equities on the project in this high-barrier-to-entry market.

The Hampton Inn & Suites will enjoy a prominent location with unobstructed water views and frontage on highway A1A, otherwise known as the Overseas Highway, the only highway providing access from the mainland to the Florida Keys.  At 2146-2188 Overseas Highway, the hotel will be 3.5 miles from the Marathon Airport, second only in size to Key West International in the Keys.
