International has announced the
appointment of Elizabeth
Oliver as controller for Naples Bay
Resort, the new luxury property in Naples, Florida.
Greg Allowe,
Benchmark’s managing director at
the resort, made the announcement. This
marks a return to Benchmark Hospitality for Ms. Oliver, who was previously with
the company during the 1990s.
“We’d like to welcome Elizabeth
to Naples Bay Resort,” said Mr. Allowe, “and are so pleased she is returning to
Benchmark Hospitality International. I
look forward to her being an active member of our executive team here
at the
resort.”
Prior to joining Naples Bay Resort, Elizabeth
Oliver held
the title of director of finance for Daufuskie Island Resort and Breathe Spa, Daufuskie Island, South Carolina.
She
had previously served as controller for the Westin Innisbrook Golf
Resort,
located near Tampa, and held the same
position
with the Adams Mark Hotel
in Charlotte, North Carolina.
It was at Bald Head Island Resort, off the
coast of North Carolina,
that she was last employed by Benchmark Hospitality in the role of
hospitality controller. Benchmark operated
the resort at the
time.
Ms. Oliver has also worked in the United Kingdom as financial controller
for the
London Hilton on Park Lane
hotel in the city of London. She began her career with Benchmark
Hospitality initially serving as operations analyst at the company’s
Home
Office before being promoted to controller of the Park Ridge Hotel near
Philadelphia, which was then part of Benchmark’s portfolio. Ms. Oliver began her career in Scotland. She resides in Naples.
