Shirley Geerman has 24 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry.  In addition to her most recent experience at Kura Hulanda she has spent time in various markets including Latin America, Europe and North America. She has extensive experience in the meetings and incentive market and is well known by travel partners. Mrs. Geerman, a native of the neighboring island of Aruba, can count the Aruba Marriott, Wyndham Aruba Beach Resort and the Renaissance Aruba Hotel & Casino amongst her past employers.    
                                                                                            
Steven Bakker joins Kura Hulanda after two years of service as the Operational Food & Beverage Manager at Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam. Over the past nine years Mr. Bakker has held positions at various hotels in The Netherlands including the Palace Hotel, Dorint Sofitel and The Dylan Amsterdam.  Additionally, his career has taken him to Egypt, France and Aruba. He holds a bachelors degree in Hospitality Management from Hotelschool The Hague, International University of Hospitality Management. Born in Geldrop, Netherlands, Mr. Bakker is fluent in both Dutch and English and enjoys playing basketball, golf and is a PADI certified open water diver.
