Peter Webster Appointed General Manager of the 304-room

BEVERLY HILLS, CA, (January 5, 2009) � It was announced today that effective March 11, 2009, Peter Webster has been appointed General Manager of the 304-room Hilton Short Hills located in Short Hills, New Jersey. An industry veteran with over 20 years of global hospitality experience, collectively within the United States, the Caribbean and the United Kingdom, Mr. Webster will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of this acclaimed urban resort-style property, located in suburban Short Hills, New Jersey, an affluent bedroom community of New York City. �We are very excited to have Peter managing this prestigious property which recently reopened its first-rate Spa Chakra facility after a major multi-million dollar renovation,� said Barry Lewin, Senior Vice President, Hotel Operations for Hilton Hotels Corporation. �Peter�s knowledge and expertise of the international luxury market is key to this position. The Hilton Short Hills� close proximity to midtown Manhattan, its location adjacent to the upscale Mall at Short Hills, has fostered a reputation and legacy as being one of the area�s best luxury hotels in the metro New York area. Peter�s prior background and experience serving in a GM capacity at distinctive Hilton Caribbean hotels and his level of sophistication will be a tremendous asset to this upscale property,� Lewin added. Mr. Webster has a long and distinguished career in hospitality including a distinctive tenure and relationship with Hilton. Most recently, he served as General Manager of the British Colonial Hilton, in Nassau, The Bahamas. As General Manager, he was instrumental in overseeing a $15M refurbishment program which included all 288 guestrooms, suites and corridors, meeting space as well as new restaurant and bar concepts. Prior to this position, Mr. Webster served as General Manager for the Hilton Hotel, in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles over a four-year period, in which he led the hotel to achieve significant achievements in occupancy levels, guest satisfaction levels and loyalty scores. Other significant positions included Hotel Manager of the prestigious 537-room Drake Hotel in Chicago managing a massive $45M renovation project and prior to that, serving as Executive Assistant Manager of the 395-room, Hilton London Heathrow Airport Hotel, which achieved at the time the highest annual occupancy (96%) for Hilton International worldwide. Mr. Webster studied at London�s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and graduated with a Stage Management Diploma with honors. He is an avid runner and enjoys all music and sports.
