TTI Targets Top Talent During Tough Times

Bridget Oliva-Werba joins growing business as VP Sales and Marketing

New York January 12, 2009 While many in the hospitality industry are jumping on the bandwagon to layoff employees in hopes of offsetting the economic crisis and stop overhead and bottom-line bleeding, TTI Technologies International is taking a much different approach. Recently, the growing provider of automated self-service business centers, ID/Passport Scanners, Airline Boarding Pass Printing Systems, Automated Concierge Services and more set out to identify and recruit the industrys top sales talent to help expand its customer base nationwide. With nearly two decades of hospitality sales and marketing experience, Bridget Oliva-Werba was top on TTIs list.

"This is not the time to bail on the industrys most valuable resource employees, said TTI President Steve Blidner, and it certainly is not the time to cut back on sales, marketing and public relations initiatives. Rather than accepting defeat, 2009 is the best possible time for companies to stake their claim in the industry and better define their positions by attracting and retaining true leaders.

Bridget is one of the most highly skilled hospitality sales-and-marketing executives in the industry who also possesses the rare gift of having an extensive background in hotel technology development and deployment, Blidner said. Couple this with her coveted network of contacts among the brands, management companies and hospitality media and the industry will see -- as we do -- an invaluable resource who we believe will lead TTI courageously through these tough times. She is results-driven, customer-focused and the right person to join our team.

Most recently Werba served as VP, National Accounts for Denver-based Roomlinx, a provider of high-speed Internet access and In-Room Media, Entertainment and Business Solutions.  Previously, Werba held positions with Hcareers, the leading job board for the hospitality industry, and dedicated more than 13 years of service to Multi-Systems, Inc. (MSI), based in Phoenix.  As vice president of business development and marketing, her contributions were significant to MSIs growth and expansion throughout North America. She is an active member of the American Hotel & Lodging Assn. and participates in several areas, including the Allied Executive Committee, AH&LEF Golf Classic Committee, and the HotelPAC. In addition, she has earned the Master Hotel Supplier (MHS) status from the Educational Institute of the AH&LA.

Im excited to join TTI as they value customer service and offer a diverse portfolio of technology solutions to better our industry, Werba said. From ID/Passport Scanners to full-service desktop business centers, Informational Kiosks, Luggage Storage Solutions, Digital Signage systems and more, TTI has a full line of proven, in-demand solutions. More importantly, these solutions are successfully installed in leading hotels throughout New York, Chicago and Washington D.C. and all are receiving rave reviews from hotel owners, operators and guests. Bringing these solutions West will be a fun and fulfilling challenge, and I cant wait to dive in.

Leading with talent

As Werba enters her new role with TTI, Blidner said he feels confident that TTI is now positioned to further expand its products and services nationally and internationally.

At TTI, we are excited about the successes that 2009 will bring through new team members, new business partners and new technologies, Blidner said. Transcending the notion of teamwork to that of a workplace family is the only way to attract and retain top talent in 2009 and beyond. We are thrilled to welcome Bridget Oliva-Werba into the TTI family, and we look forward to retaining her valued skills and services for years to come.
