Katheryne Veldhouse Appointed Director of Hotel Sales

Tallahassee � January 20, 2009 - Hotel Duval, Tallahassee�s first boutique hotel, is pleased to announce the appointment of Katheryne Veldhouse as its Director of Hotel Sales. Upon graduating from Florida State University with a degree in Hospitality Administration, Veldhouse began her professional career with Club Corporation of America in 1997. Since then, she has worked for Sodexho-Marriott Services, La Quinta Hotels and Royal American Management, which oversees apartment properties in the southeastern region of the country. Veldhouse specializes in new business development and key account management. Throughout her career, Veldhouse has received several awards and acknowledgements, including the MMI Sales Department of the Year award in 2002 and the La Quinta Sales Shark award in 2005 and 2006. �Veldhouse brings over 10 years of sales experience to the Hotel Duval team,� said Chad Kittrell, owner of Hotel Duval. �Her specialization in new business development and key account management will be valuable as we establish ourselves at the forefront of Tallahassee�s hospitality industry.� Tallahassee's first luxury boutique hotel, Hotel Duval, debuts March
