Seagate Hospitality Group Names Helmut Rueckert President



DELRAY BEACH, FL � (January 21, 2009) � Seagate Hospitality Group, an independent hotel and resort management company, has named Helmut Rueckert President. In addition to directing the efforts of the individual project teams, Rueckert will be working to grow the company nationally by pursuing management contracts and partnerships and adding additional properties to the company�s portfolio of projects that include the recently reconstructed luxury Seagate Beach Club and The Seagate Hotel & Spa, currently under construction. 

�Rueckert brings tremendous experience as a senior manager for well-respected brands in the hospitality industry and we�re extremely pleased he has joined our growing team,� says Seagate Hospitality Group Chairman E. Anthony Wilson. 

Rueckert has 32 years of experience in the upscale and luxury segments of the hospitality and restaurant industries in the United States, Caribbean and Europe, including executive positions with such companies as Crescent Hotels & Resorts, Hudson Hotels and Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. 

Born and educated in Germany, Rueckert attended the Culinary School for the Hospitality Industry  where he earned his certification as a chef, as well as Fachoberschule Marktheidenfeld where he majored in Business and Accounting.
