Cathedral City, California Selects Sage Hospitality to
Manage and Provide Technical Services
for the Proposed 300 room Desert Cove Resort

Denver, CO (January 27, 2009) -- Sage Hospitality, one of the nation�s most respected hotel management and development companies, announced it has signed a Qualified Management Agreement with Cathedral City, California to manage and provide technical services support for the new Sheraton Desert Cove Resort. Sage will be providing Technical Services during development then property management long term for the hotel resort. In addition, they bring the added expertise of the Sage Restaurant Group, which presents the opportunity to enrich the resort with a concept restaurant. The new hotel will feature 300 guest rooms, 18,000 square feet of meeting space, a full service restaurant, an on-site resort spa and a city-operated golf course. In addition, the hotel will have a lobby bar, business center, gift shop, fitness center and resort spa. The hotel�s meeting facilities will feature state-of-the-art conference technology and flexible meeting space to host corporate meetings and group events. With a planned opening date of November 2010, the resort and conference center is anticipated to bring over 80 new jobs to Cathedral City as part of the City�s Downtown Core Revitalization Plan. By increasing Cathedral City�s share of the area�s tourism business, the Sheraton Desert Cove Resort will capitalized on Cathedral City�s central location and enhance its appeal as a Coachella Valley destination.
