Penny Vacanti to National Sales Manager
LOS ANGELES (Feb. 26, 2009) � Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel announces the promotion of Penny Vacanti to national sales manager. In her new role, Vacanti will assist in strategic sales efforts in the Northeast and Southeast markets with a particular focus the New York City and New Jersey regions. During her five years with Loews, Vacanti has quickly climbed the ranks from reservations manager, to access sales manager to her current role as a national sales manager. She is consistently successful in achieving more than 100 percent of her sales goals, and booked more than $1 million in the small meetings market in 2008 alone. Vacanti is an active member of Meeting Planners International. She serves on the hotel�s Good Neighbor Council where she helped raised more than $10,000 for Loews Hotels� Good Neighbor partner, Modest Needs Foundation. �Penny�s energy and positive attitude have allowed her to increase business
