The Ritz-Carlton Club Appoints Nicholas DiMeglio

ORLANDO, Fla. � February 23, 2009 � The Ritz-Carlton Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas DiMeglio as vice president, Ritz-Carlton Club operations. Most recently, DiMeglio was the general manager at The Ritz-Carlton Club, Aspen Highlands where he increased Member and employee engagement as well as improved the profitability of ancillary businesses. DiMeglio joined The Ritz-Carlton Club, Aspen Highlands after previously serving as general manager of The Williamsburg Inn in historic Colonial Williamsburg, Va. A second generation hotelier and third generation restaurateur, DiMeglio began his hospitality career 35 years ago. He has extensive experience in the luxury hotel industry including working at AAA Five Diamond, Greenbrier resort in White Sulpher Springs, W.Va, and serving in several positions within Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, and three Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company properties: Buckhead in Atlanta, Phoenix and Rancho Mirage, Calif. He has also worked at three different mountain resorts. Under DiMeglio�s guidance at The Williamsburg Inn, the property was honored with the Nation�s Restaurant News Fine Dining Hall of Fame Award. �Mr. DiMeglio is an industry veteran with a rich history in the luxury resort market,� said John Hearns, vice president, Ritz-Carlton residential operations. �He possesses the unique skills and talent to lead the outstanding team of Ladies and Gentlemen within our portfolio of world class vacation destinations.� DiMeglio is a graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. and is a certified public accountant. He currently serves on Hospitality and Tourism Management Advisory Board for James Madison University and is also an avid swimmer, golfer and skier. DiMeglio is relocating to Orlando, Fla. with his wife, Martha.
