Benchmark Appoints John Branciforte Director of Sales and Marketing
at Cheyenne Mountain Resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado

The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, February 2, 2009 � Benchmark Hospitality International has appointed John Branciforte director of sales and marketing for the Four Diamond Cheyenne Mountain Resort of Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Laura Neumann, vice president and general manager, made the announcement.
 
"I am so pleased to welcome John to the Benchmark Hospitality International team at Cheyenne Mountain Resort," said Ms. Neumann.  �He brings significant experience with golf resorts to his new role.  We look forward to his active leadership of our sales and marketing programming.�
 
John Branciforte comes to Cheyenne Mountain Resort with over two decades of hospitality sales and marketing experience.  He previously invested five years of his career with Omni, serving most recently as director of sales and marketing for the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate where he was active in the property�s repositioning.  Mr. Branciforte also held the title of area director of sales and marketing, Texas Region, for the company.  Earlier he served as director of sales and marketing for the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas near Dallas.  
 
Previous to this, John Branciforte was employed by Boyne USA Resorts, where he held the title of director of sales and marketing for three destination resorts in northern Michigan.  These included The Inn at Bay Harbor, Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain.  
 
Earlier in his hospitality career, Mr. Branciforte worked with World Travel and Incentives of Minneapolis, Hilton Hotels and Resorts of Chicago, and for Westin Hotels and Resorts at properties in New York, San Francisco and Orlando.  
 
John Branciforte earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Restaurant and Travel Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  In 2004, he was honored by Omni as Sales and Marketing Executive of the Year.  He and his wife are relocating to Colorado Springs.
