HFTPs Continuing Education is Key to Staying Ahead
.

AUSTIN, TEXAS, USA (February 18, 2009) The key to surmounting economic challenges is to keep on top of current industry trends, learn best practices from experts and have a dialogue with those in similar situations. Hospitality professionals can gain such advantages at Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) educational conferences, featuring relevant education programs on hospitality finance and technology, as well as valuable networking opportunities. Schedules and registration for each are now available at www.hftp.org.

In difficult business circumstances, it is best to be proactive and work toward improvements, said Frank Wolfe, CAE, HFTP CEO. Using its resources and years of conference-planning experience, HFTP works hard to provide industry practitioners a resource for professional progress.

HFTPs 2009 educational opportunities span the U.S. and Singapore, and include:

Currently HFTP is offering a New to Industry Education Scholarship for the March Club and Hotel Controllers Conference, HITEC 2009 and the HFTP Annual Convention & Tradeshow (one scholarship per event). Eligible applicants are HFTP members who began working in the hospitality industry within the past three years. Applications are available for download at www.hftp.org.

In addition to the HFTP conferences, the association offers a variety of educational resources including its online ProLinks Discussion Forums, frequent ProLinks Webinars, reviews and exams for the Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP) and the Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive (CHAE), and industry research from the HFTP Research Institute.
