Pamela M. Feick Named Director of Sales and Marketing
at The Pierre, New York City

Hotel Re-opening in Spring 2009

NEW YORK (October 29, 2008) - Heiko Kuenstle, General Manager of The Pierre, the iconic hotel on New York's Fifth Avenue overlooking Central Park, has named Pamela M. Feick as the property's director of sales and marketing.

"We're delighted to add Pamela's many talents to our team. Her luxury sales and marketing expertise will be a great asset, particularly as we complete our second phase of renovations and prepare to welcome guests back to The Pierre in Spring 2009. Her contributions will showcase the hotel's refined, fresh look and stature as the Taj Hotels flagship in the U.S. to our most important audiences," said Kuenstle.

Feick joins The Pierre from her role as the New York-based Regional Director of Sales for Shutters on the Beach and Hotel Casa Del Mar, two luxury hotels in Southern California. During her five-year tenure in New York City, she successfully opened a national sales office and negotiated strategic business with corporate, entertainment and leisure segments.

Her previous experience includes positions as Director of Sales and Marketing for Sofitel Lafayette Square and The Jefferson Hotel, both in Washington, D.C.; as Director of East Coast Sales for the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, and serving as Group/Corporate Sales Manager for The Ritz-Carlton New York. She began her hospitality career as Group/Corporate Sales Manager for the Four Seasons Hotel in New York.

A graduate of Radford University in Virginia, Feick holds degrees in English and Political Science.
