 Jacqueline Lewis and Jesse Bush Appointed General Manager and
Director of Sales Respectively at the Courtyard by Marriott
in Stuart, Florida

STUART, FL (October 6, 2008) � The soon to be opened Courtyard by Marriott in Stuart recently announced the appointments of General Manager Jacqueline Lewis and Director of Sales Jesse Bush to oversee the operational and marketing aspects of the new property. The hotel also added a professional and experienced team of department managers to complete the hotel�s management team - Executive Housekeeper Olga Caesar, Sales Coordinator Lauren Foster and Chief Engineer Terry Davis have joined Lewis and Bush at the new property. The Courtyard Stuart is currently under construction and slated to open later this year. 

Waterford Hotel Group, Inc. with headquarters in Waterford, CT, will professionally manage and operate the 120-room hotel. 

As general manager, Jacqueline Lewis will be responsible for all phases of the hotel�s operations and administration, including the management of approximately 50 associates. Lewis brings to Waterford more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, and most recently served as general manager of the Homewood Suites Southwind in Memphis, TN. Previously, Lewis served in numerous hospitality roles in the Orlando region ranging from front desk manager to general manager. She is a graduate of Tallahassee Community College and has been designated as a Certified Hotel Administrator by the American Hotel and Motel Association. 

As director of sales, Jesse Bush will be responsible for the total sales effort of the hotel, including developing and maintaining new accounts, supervising sales related personnel, and implementing sales and marketing strategies so as to maximize profits of the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction. He joins the Stuart team with more than 20 years of sales experience. Bush most recently served as sales manager for the Embassy Suites in Balm Beach Gardens, and his previous hospitality experience includes assistant general manager and director of sales for the Hampton Inn in West Palm Beach, and as manger of corporate sales for the Doubletree in the Gardens in Palm Peach Gardens. He currently resides in Jupiter and is a graduate of Florida International University in Miami.

The Courtyard Stuart has also added the following members to the hotel�s department management team: 

Executive Housekeeper Olga Caesar joins the Stuart team from the Hampton Inn Orlando Convention Center, where she served as executive housekeeper, food and beverage manager as well as finance manager. Her duties at the Courtyard Stuart include the management of all facets of the housekeeping department ensuring high levels of guest service and satisfaction. 

Terry Davis has been appointed as the new chief engineer, and will supervise the maintenance operations for the hotel and maintain building standards. Davis most recently worked at Signature Healthcare in Marietta, GA as director of plant operations, and has many years experience working with plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems. 

As sales coordinator, Lauren Foster will act as personal support for the Stuart sales department, including detailing all in-coming functions, maintaining room block inventories, and qualifying all in-coming sales calls. Foster holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, and most recently served as catering sales coordinator for the Renaissance Orlando Resort at Sea World.

The new Stuart Courtyard is owned by Stuart Lodgings, LLC, a partnership of affiliates of Connecticut-based Waterford Group, LLC, Michigan-based Slavik, Inc., and Connecticut developer Glenn Jette. Collectively, the owners bring several decades of professional experience to the project, including hotel development and management, and construction expertise. Stuart-based Bayview Construction is serving as general contractor for the more than $8 million construction project. Established in 1978, Bayview is a certified state-licensed general contractor.

The Courtyard by Marriott is located at 7615 SW Lost River Road, with visibility from both Interstate 95 and Florida�s Turnpike. The 70,000 square foot, four-story hotel will include 120 guestrooms, outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, 24-hour access to food, hot breakfast buffet, lounge, and 1,200 square feet of meeting space. The hotel represents the next phase of the nearly 18-acre planned development, which already includes a Cracker Barrel, a McDonalds and a gas station.
