NEW Online Assessment Tool Prepares
Candidates for CHA Exam

Orlando, Florida, October 2008�Candidates for the Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) professional certification can test their readiness for the CHA exam with the new online CHA Assessment Tool available from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (EI). The CHA Assessment Tool, which launched on EI�s website on October 1, 2008, consists of six 30-question quizzes that correlate to the six sections of the CHA study guide. These knowledge domains include: � Financial ManagementAfter completion of the test, which contains questions similar in format and content to those in the CHA exam, candidates receive an evaluation report indicating their score and skill level against the required benchmarks. The assessment includes a detailed performance report and a review of missed questions that does not provide the correct answers, but rather identifies where the correct information may be found in the CHA study guide for further review. The CHA Assessment Tool�s purchase price of $75.00 includes: � 90 days of access to the diagnostic toolThe CHA Assessment Tool is available only to those hospitality candidates who have submitted a CHA application to EI and have met the necessary prerequisites for that certification program. The new CHA Assessment Tool is part of a comprehensive revitalization of the CHA program. The program�s three-volume study guide has been expanded from 36 to 43 chapters, with updated information and competencies related to financial management, leadership, and food and beverage management. The CHA exam has also been revised to reflect the new material. In addition, candidates may now opt to take the CHA exam online, which provides them with immediate results and feedback.
