Embassy Suites – Loveland, Colorado Names Executive Team;
Tom Dwyer Opening General Manager
LOVELAND, Colo. & SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- October 23, 2008 - With five months until the highly anticipated debut of John Q. Hammons’ eight-story, 263-suite Embassy Suites® – Loveland Hotel, Spa & Conference Center (www.embassysuitesloveland.com) at 4705 Clydesdale Parkway, Loveland, Colo., the luxury development’s pre-opening executive team was announced today. Led by Tom Dwyer, a 20-year John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts veteran, the seasoned team is available to accept group reservations and to lead hard-hat tours of the contemporary-designed hotel and adjoining 80,000 gross square feet of meeting space. The all-suite, luxury hotel will be owned by hotel legend Mr. John Q. Hammons and managed by Springfield, Mo.-based John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts, the nation’s leading independent builder, developer, owner and manager of upscale, full-service hotels, resorts and suites (www.jqhhotels.com). The conference center also will be managed by John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts.
Representing the first large-scale development at The Ranch, Larimer County Fairgrounds and Events Complex, since Northern Colorado’s premier entertainment destination and agricultural showcase venue’s opening in 2003, the Embassy Suites – Loveland Hotel, Spa & Conference Center is expected to be the largest hotel north of Denver to Canada upon its anticipated completion in March 2009. John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts operates two other hotels in Colorado, including in Denver and Fort Collins, and Mr. Hammons is developing a hotel in Colorado Springs.

The Embassy Suites – Loveland Hotel, Spa & Conference Center will reside on 20 acres of land on the northeast quadrant of I-25 and US-34 with convenient access to the Colorado cities of Greeley, Fort Collins, Estes Park, Windsor, Longmont, Boulder and Denver and also to Cheyenne, Wyo. In addition, the development will be strategically located near a new 1 million-square-foot, 60-acre shopping center developed by Loveland-based McWhinney Enterprises. John Q. Hammons’ upscale facilities will be next to the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport and located near several of Northern Colorado’s largest economic drivers, including nearby Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies, Wal-Mart Distribution Center, Hach Company, and one of Anheuser-Busch’s breweries. The facilities will be just 10 miles from Colorado State University, which has about 24,700 resident instruction students.
