 Rezidor Names Carina Williamson and Pascal Gadet to GM Posts
for Missoni Branded Hotels in Edinburgh and Kuwait City

November 6, 2008 - Hotel Missoni is pleased to announce the appointments of the General Managers of Hotel Missoni Edinburgh and Hotel Missoni Kuwait City � the first two properties to open in this exciting collaboration between the Rezidor Hotel Group and the renowned Italian fashion and interiors label, Missoni. Carina Williamson will be General Manager of Hotel Missoni Edinburgh, which will open in May 2009 and Pascal Gadet will be General Manager of Hotel Missoni Edinburgh, will which open late Spring 2009.

Born in Norway, Carina Williamson will be returning to Scotland to take up the post of General Manager of Hotel Missoni Edinburgh. Trained at the Norwegian Hotel Management School in Stavanger, Carina previously worked at the Malmaison Hotel in Glasgow before joining The Rezidor Hotel Group in 2004 where she worked in properties throughout the UK and Ireland and was actively involved in the pre-opening of several Radisson SAS Hotels including Cork and Limerick.  Carina comes to Hotel Missoni from The Radisson SAS Hotel Belfast, where she was General Manager, as well as Project Manager for the pre-opening of a new bar at the Radisson SAS Edinburgh.

Pascal Gadet, has nearly 20 years experience of working in the hospitality industry around the world with several years already spent in the Middle East.   Pascal joins Hotel Missoni from The Radisson SAS Resort in El Quseir, Egypt where he was General Manager overseeing the launch of this five star lifestyle resort.  During his time at El Quseir he won several awards including being named General Manager of the Year in the 2007 Esprit Awards.  Pascal�s new appointment marks a return to Kuwait for him as he had previously worked in Kuwait City at The Radisson SAS Hotel.  Born in Holland, Pascal trained at Heerlen Hotel Management College before embarking on a career that would see him work at hotels in Europe, India and the Middle East.
