Pilar Gomez Appointed General Manager at the

RIVIERA MAYA, MEXICO, September 24, 2008 � Hacienda Tres Rios, a new eco-friendly, luxury resort in the Riviera Maya, will be opening its doors November 15, 2008 with a newly appointed general manager ready to greet the first guests. 
 
Pilar Gomez comes to Hacienda Tres Rios with more than a decade of experience in the luxury travel industry. As general manager of Hacienda Tres Rios, Ms. Gomez is responsible for overseeing day-to-day management of the hotel and ensuring that guest experiences meet or surpass their expectations. Her responsibilities establishing policies based on the standards set by AAA and Leading Hotels of the World; defining the level of service at Hacienda Tres Rios; supervise, coordinate and train staff; and coordination with marketing and sales team to ensure proper branding of the hotel.
 
Having previously worked for numerous luxury resorts throughout Mexico, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, Ms. Gomez is an expert in meeting the needs of today�s luxury traveler�s and creating truly unique vacation memories. She spent the last four years as the general manager and director of services at the exclusive Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana, D.R. and at Paradisus Riviera Cancun in Mexico. In Punta Cana, she was responsible for managing the 550-room, luxury, all-inclusive hotel and convention space. During her time in Cancun, Ms. Gomez was charged with elevating the quality of service and promoting a new brand image for the resort. By the end of her time at Paradisus Riviera Cancun, Ms. Gomez had received numerous accolades including the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award and the Star and Diamonds Award from the American Academy of Sciences in Hospitality.
 
Hacienda Tres Ríos has 273 suites ranging from 645 up to 2,063 square feet with breathtaking views of the sea, fresh water canals, or lush tropical gardens. The suites feature 300-count Egyptian cotton linens, living areas with sofa beds, a pillow menu, terrace or private balcony, flat-screen satellite TVs, air conditioning, and Internet access.  The suites are designed to be environmentally-friendly with low-flow water devices, automatic air conditioning and lighting controls, energy efficient appliances, and linens washed upon request. Hacienda Tres Ríos offers an Endless Luxury All-Inclusive Plan that includes unlimited meals, snacks, and drinks in any of the properties� seven, a patisserie, seven bars and through 24-hour room service. To ensure that you never have to leave the resort for culinary variety, the property boasts fine Mexican, Italian, Asian fusion, seafood and international cuisine, along with two poolside snack bars/delis and a brick-oven pizzeria.
