Charles L. Black III Named Director of  Sales and Marketing
for Cap Juluca on Caribbean island of Anguilla

Anguilla, British West Indies (September 26, 2008) �  Charles L. Black III has been named director of sales and marketing for Cap Juluca � the award-winning luxury resort on the pristine Caribbean island of Anguilla. 

According to Cap Juluca�s General Manager Gary Thulander, Black will take charge of all sales and marketing programs for the highly acclaimed property, including strategic and media planning, collateral creation, web site enhancements, advertising and public relations. �We are extremely pleased to have Charles join our team, and are confident his expertise will prove invaluable as we work to expand our sales and marketing outreach as well as upgrade operations for this unique resort, which is in the midst of an $80 million enhancement program,� Thulander says. 

With considerable experience in the sales and marketing of luxury properties, especially in the Caribbean region, Black was previously director of marketing for IMI, a luxury real estate sales and marketing firm, overseeing marketing programs for Caribbean-based resort properties such as Fairmont Anguilla, Raffles St. Lucia and Raffles Tortola. Prior to joining IMI, he was director of sales and marketing for The Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort, Rose Hall in Jamaica, and worked with Ritz-Carlton Hotels & Resorts in various sales and marketing capacities for seven years.  He also served as national sales manager for the Windsor Court Hotel, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, and worked as a sales manager for Le Méridien New Orleans. 

A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Black holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Loyola University, New Orleans. He also attended Université Catholique de Louvain in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium where he completed French-taught courses at the Institut d�Administration et Gestion. 

Active in the hospitality and tourism industries, Black is a member of the Anguilla Hotel and Tourism Authority, the St. Lucia Tourist Board and the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board.
