Park Plaza Hotels Appoints Wilfried Persevalle as Regional
Director of Sales & Revenue UK
and Marieke de Witte as Human Resources Manager Benelux
02 July 2008 – Park Plaza Hotels today announce the appointment of two key executives – Wilfried Persevalle as Regional Director of Sales & Revenue UK and Marieke de Witte as Human Resources Manager Benelux.
With over 14 years experience in the hospitality industry, Wilfried Persevalle joins Park Plaza Hotels having worked for international hotel chains in several destinations including Concorde in Paris, Hilton in London, Kempinski in Budapest and more recently in Argentina working on the pre-opening of a new independent 5 star hotel.
Wilfried is currently studying an Executive MBA in London and recently gained a Finance qualification during his time in Buenos Aires. Wilfried speaks French, Spanish and English.

Marieke de Witte joins Park Plaza Hotels with a wealth of experience in the hospitality sector covering Human Resources, Training & Development, Sales and Front Office with NH Hoteles and Golden Tulip in primary cities within the Netherlands and formerly with Hilton in Brussels, Belgium.
Most recently, Marieke has spent four years with the specialist in hospitality consultancy Performance Solutions, where as a Senior Trainer she managed bespoke performance training needs for companies such as Nokia, Compass, Best Western and Accor.
Marieke joins Park Plaza Hotels to further develop the Human Resources function across its portfolio in The Netherlands and Belgium at a time when the company’s commitment to training and people development forms a key business objective.
Marieke comments: “I am delighted to now lead the regional Human Resources function for Park Plaza Hotels in the Benelux having gained significant experience with hotel groups at a similar stage in their expansion plans. Continuous training and development of our people is the cornerstone of our industry and I am keen to build upon the success that Park Plaza has enjoyed in recent months with its group-wide training programmes.”

Projects already under development include Park Plaza Marrakech (2009), Park Plaza Nuremberg (2009), art’otel cologne (2009), art’otel marrakech (2009), Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London (2010) and art’otel London (2012).
