Michelle Rini Named Food & Beverage Director of Doubletree

Center Berkeley Marina is excited to announce the appointment of Michelle
Rini as the Food & Beverage Director for the hotel.
�We�re so pleased to welcome Michelle and we�re looking forward to the experience and leadership that she brings to our Berkeley property,� says Erik Dahlerbruch of Westmont Hospitality Group. Michelle brings nearly 18 years of multiple market experience to her new position. Her previous appointments include the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel in Atlanta, Princess Royale Hotel in Ocean City, MD, Divi Divi in the Caribbean Islands, Caesar Casino in Atlantic City, Trump Plaza and Trump World�s Fair. Her work has earned her a Who�s Who of Culinary Arts and National Home Economics awards. Michelle is a graduate of Johnson & Wales College with a Bachelor�s degree in Food Service Management. She also served as a faculty advisor at Atlantic Community College and was faculty advisor for the Johnson & Wales Wine Society. She parlays her involvement in education into what she says is the most rewarding aspect of her work, which is teaching and training her staff. In her new role, Michelle will oversee the hotel�s Food & Beverage operations and menu planning for the Bay Grille restaurant and lounge as well as the hotel�s in-room dining program. In addition, she will be responsible for the new hotel gift shop. A Cleveland native, Michelle currently resides in Berkeley, California. She can be reached at [email protected].
