UNIGUEST Joins HTNG as a Platinum Member in Support of
Next Generation Technologies for the Hotel Industry

.

Nashville, Tenn. - August 29, 2008 - Uniguest announced today that it has joined Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG) as a Platinum Member.

Joining an organization like HTNG is great for companies that are looking to develop a long-term model as a technology vendor in the lodging industry, states Shawn Thomas, Uniguests Founder and CEO. Uniguests goal aligns perfectly with the goal of HTNG in that future technology applications will require vendor companies working together to seamlessly provide end-to-end solutions. Since day one, we have maintained an open architecture that integrates into any application and we look forward to collaboration with other hotel industry technology leaders.

Since 2002, Uniguest has been an early adopter of open source technology for providing security protection and ongoing remote support for a lodging propertys business center and/or lobby PC workstation. Today, while managing over 3,350 workstations internationally, Uniguest continues to maintain an open architecture that seamlessly integrates with other technology companies like high speed internet providers and content providers.

When reviewing vendors to secure and manage our business center and lobby PCs, having the ability to support and remotely manage while controlling costs was important, says Ken Barnes, V.P. of Information Technology for White Lodging. Remotely, Uniguest has been able to utilize our existing computer equipment while integrating with our high speed Internet provider. The process has been seamless without disruption to our individual properties.
