Kite Properties Breaks Ground on 85-Room
Hampton Inn in Okeechobee, Florida

OKEECHOBEE, FL (August 13, 2008) �Kite Properties, LLC, a Vero Beach developer, broke ground recently on an 85-room Hampton Inn by Hilton in Okeechobee, Florida. The hotel fronts Florida SR 70, one half mile east of US 441. Hotel Equities, an Atlanta-based hotel development, management and consulting firm, is an equity partner in the hotel and will manage it. Orlando-based general contractor Pinkerton and Laws will supervise construction. The construction schedule calls for a July 2009 opening. The address of the hotel itself is 1200 NE Park Street, Okeechobee, FL 34972. .
