Alan Paris Named Hotel Manager and Vice President of
Residence Club Operations at Tuckerís Point Club

BERMUDA Ė August 13, 2008 Ė Alan Paris, a four year veteran of Tuckerís Point Club, is now playing an even more integral role at Bermudaís premier resort and residential community. He has recently been named the Hotel Manager of Tuckerís Point Hotel & Spa, which opens next April, and Vice President of Residence Club Operations. 

As hotel manager, Paris is charged with managing all internal operations of the 88-room Tuckerís Point Hotel & Spa. As Vice President of Residence Club Operations, Paris oversees day-to-day operations of the Residence Club Golf Villas, which opened in 2005 as Bermudaís first fractional ownership offering, and Harbour Court, the communityís final residential offering, which debuts this month.  
Prior to taking on the duel roles, Paris served as Tuckerís Point Clubís General Manager and Assistant to the COO for three years, where he was responsible for the final development and opening of the Residence Club at Tuckerís Point Club.

Before joining Tuckerís Point Club, Paris served as Executive Director of Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute, where he was responsible for all operations, exhibits and fundraising for the museum. For two years prior, Paris took a break from life on land to test his sea legs as he successfully completed in the single-handed Around Alone 2002, a 30,000 nautical mile yacht race that circumnavigates the globe. 
Paris has worked in the hospitality industry for 20 years and has served as general manager for several Bermuda hotels including Ariel Sands and Horizons & Cottages. 

Paris is a graduate of Englandís Ardingly College, a member of the New York Explorerís Club and Member of the British Empire (MBE) for his contributions to sailing and education.  He resides in Bermuda with his wife Becky and son Tucker.
