EMCVenues To Host MEET Chicago 2008

Meeting Education Event To Benefit All Planners, May 29th, 30th

Brielle, New Jersey, May 14, 2008 � EMCVenues, the global meetings management company specializing in productive meetings from concept to completion, announces MEET Chicago 2008, an interactive meeting education event and tradeshow.  MEET Chicago is geared to help the novice-to-the-seasoned meeting planners get the most out of each conference they plan.  MEET Chicago 2008 will be held May 29th and 30th and take place at the Wyndham Lisle-Chicago Hotel & Executive Meeting Center in Lisle, Illinois, near Chicago.  Over 175 industry professionals are expected to participate in the event and tradeshow. 

Participants in MEET Chicago 2008 can sign up for a 24-hour program, a full-day program, or a half-day program, including the general session and tradeshow event.  Attendees will have the opportunity to learn best practices from influential industry speakers, prominent sponsors, plus attend education and general sessions.  Registration is from $79 - $149 depending on the program selected. 

Additionally, attendees of MEET Chicago 2008 receive valuable credit toward industry-recognized certifications, including:

  • Certified Meeting Professional - 1.25 contact hours/points per session attended
  • Certified Account Executive - Six Continuing Education Units (CEU) for attending all sessions
