Glen Varda Appointed Director of Sales
at the Parc 55 Hotel, San Francisco

| SAN FRANCISCO (June 12, 2008) � Rob Gauthier, Managing
Director of Parc 55 Hotel San Francisco, is pleased to announce the promotion
of Glen Varda to Director of Sales. Parc 55 Hotel, which is located
in the heart of San Francisco�s best neighborhood for shopping, dining
and theatre, is in the midst of a $30 million renovation that will be complete
at the end of the year, and will increase the hotel�s meeting and function
spaces to 30,000 square feet.
Varda, formerly Parc 55 Hotel�s Associate Director of Sales, has more than 13 years of sales, marketing and operations experience in the hotel industry and will oversee all group and corporate sales, in addition to catering and convention services. �Because of our proximity to Moscone Center and the Financial District, Parc 55 Hotel is already a favorite San Francisco venue among business travelers and meeting planners,� said Gauthier. �Glen will be a strong ambassador for Parc 55 as we re-introduce our hotel to the market following the completion of our renovation, which will dramatically enhance our ability to accommodate large groups and host special events with ease. His focus will only solidify our positioning as a meetings expert in San Francisco.� Varda has extensive experience catering to large corporate and association group customers. Prior to joining Parc 55 Hotel, he held several key leadership positions at luxury hotels across the country, including the Pan Pacific Hotel San Francisco, where he was Director of Group Sales. Varda also played a strong role in group sales efforts at The Madison in Washington, DC, and the Fairmont Hotel San Francisco. Varda received a Bachelor degree in Hotel Management from the Swiss-American Hotel Management School in Montreux, Switzerland. He is an active member of Meeting Planners International, Society of Government Meeting Planners and American Society of Association Executives and is fluent in four languages, including Russian, English, French and German. Varda currently resides in San Francisco. The largest independent hotel in San Francisco, Parc 55 celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
