Michael J. Slosser Promoted to Vice President and Managing Director
of Operations for Destination Hotels & Resorts

Englewood, Colo. � April 1, 2008 � Mark Hickey, senior vice president of operations for Destination Hotels & Resorts, recently announced that Michael J. Slosser has been promoted to vice president and managing director of operations . In his new role, Slosser will continue to oversee the $25 million comprehensive repositioning of L�Auberge Del Mar, as well as provide operational support and responsibility for the company�s involvement in development projects along the Pacific Coast and the Sheraton Universal in Los Angeles. 

For the last four years, Slosser has been the general manager at L�Auberge Del Mar. He was the driving force behind the property�s $25 million repositioning that is slated for completion in June 2008. Once completed, the property will include a new restaurant, spa and remodeled guest rooms. The revitalized L�Auberge will introduce an upgraded resort that is reminiscent of a welcoming, private coastal estate.  

Prior to leading the L�Auberge team, Slosser was the general manager of Garden of the God�s Club in Colorado Springs, which was a Destination property until 2007. Before joining the company Slosser worked for a number of upscale hotels and resorts throughout the United States. He ran the Beverly Hilton Hotel, La Costa Resort & Spa and was the vice president of resort operations for The Lodge at Koele Resort and Manele Bay Resort on Lana�i in Hawaii. Slosser also has an extensive background with Stouffer and Westin hotels. Earlier in his career, Slosser worked closely with former White House Chief of Staff H.R. Haldemann after leaving the Nixon White House. 

Originally from Orange County, California, Slosser received his Bachelors in Business from Michigan State University�s School of Hotel Administration. Slosser lives with his wife and son in San Diego.
