The Top Ten Training Centers in the United States for 2008


Annapolis, Maryland, April 2008 … In what is becoming an annual event, EMCVenues, the global meetings management company representing more than 750 conference and event venues worldwide, has selected the Top Ten Training Centers in the United States for 2008.  The Top Ten selection was announced by Jody Wallace, president and CEO of EMCVenues, which was honored recently by Entrepreneur as one of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Women-led Companies in North America.

EMCVenues utilized specific criteria to assist in the selection process that helped set apart the best training centers nationally from their list of more than 500 US-based facilities.  The criteria include:

  • The facility’s primary source of business is meetings and training
  • Provides a Four Star-quality facility and service
  • Location includes accessibility and access to major airport(s)
  • Onsite recreation and amenities are available
  • Nearby attractions and activities are available for conferees during off-property periods
  • Accredited by the International Association of Conference Centers,, the prestigious organization that governs the conference center industry globally
  • Approved by EMCVenues Customer Advisory Council, which consists of 20 corporate and association meeting planners from around the country.
