FRANKFURT, Germany, March 6th, 2008 A senior manager
at Trust International, a leading provider of reservation and distribution
solutions for the hospitality industry, was presented with the Workgroup
Leadership Award by the Property Distribution Solution Workgroup for her
commitment and leading involvement in the Hotel Technology Next Generation
(HTNG) organization. For the second consecutive year, Trusts Francesca
Pasetti, Senior Product Manager for Interfaces, has been honored for her
support and engagement.
The annual award is given to workgroup members that have been judged
by their peers as having contributed the most to their workgroup's progress
for that year. This clear appreciation of Trusts support in removing
the boundaries of hospitality systems was celebrated at the fourth annual
Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG) Members Meeting and Conference
in Seattle, Feb. 25th-27th.
We are really proud to be recognized by such a prestigious committee
of renowned technology providers. Right from the start of the HTNG initiative,
we felt the need to help build these standards and pioneer in developing
them together with other HTNG members, said Richard Wiegmann, COO of Trust
International. Being one of the first to have received HTNG certification,
we have already been able to take full advantage of the standards with
many of our clients, and we are looking forward to further increasing the
mutual benefits of all parties involved.
Douglas Rice, Executive Vice President & CEO, Hotel Technology Next
Generation, added: HTNG facilitates the development of next-generation,
customer-centric technologies to better meet the needs of the global hotel
community. The success has been proven during the last year by providing
an interface certification program that truly helps encourage the adoption
of standards. The participation of leading technology providers such as
Trust International has helped us achieve our goals of bringing to market
open solution sets addressing specific business problems and needs.
