AUSTIN, TEXAS, USA (March 27, 2008) Exhibit space for the 2008 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®), a service of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), is sold out. A waiting list is available on a first-come, first-served basis for booth space. There are other opportunities to become involved with HITEC 2008, including space in the Club Technology Pavilion and submitting a technology for GUESTROOM 2010. HITEC 2008 is June 16-19 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.

HITEC 2008 is the world's largest hospitality technology exposition and conference. It offers a unique combination of top-notch hospitality technology education, led by industry peers and experts, and an unparalleled trade show showcasing the latest hospitality technology products and services. The exhibit hall features a new version of GUESTROOM 2010, the Club Technology Pavilion and the HITEC FAVE Awards.

"With over 700 booths and over 300 companies exhibiting, HITEC has become a hot spot for existing and up-and-coming hospitality technology," said Frank Wolfe, CAE, CEO of HFTP. "Because it is a highly-interactive conference, there are plenty of ways for suppliers to become involved with HITEC 2008."

With an increasing demand for emerging club technologies, there is a special hands-on display area in the exhibit hall demonstrating club technology. There are limited kiosk spots available in the Club Technology Pavilion, so those interested are encouraged to act fast. There are approximately 15 different club-related exhibitors at the pavilion, including ClubTec, FOOD-TRAK/SCI, Gatekeeper Business Solutions, Inc., ClubSoft, ClubDining.com and more.

The new version of GUESTROOM 2010, featuring some of the latest and near-future technologies for the modern hotel room, debuts at HITEC 2008. In order to design the 2008 version, HFTP and the GUESTROOM 2010 Task Force are seeking technologies from around the world. Traditional, non-traditional, green and other technologies are welcome. You do not have to be a member of HFTP or a current HITEC exhibitor to participate. Technologies must be submitted by Friday, March 28. Visit www.guestroom2010.org for an application and more information.

HITEC 2008 also offers multiple sponsorship and advertising opportunities for exhibitors to increase impressions before and after the show. Visit www.hitec.org to see which opportunities are still available and to download a marketing kit.
