Atlanta's Largest Hotel, Atlanta Marriott Marquis,
Finishes $138 Million Transformation
 ATLANTA,
Ga., March 25, 2008 - Atlanta's largest hotel, Atlanta Marriott Marquis,
located in the heart of Peachtree Center is well connected, revitalized
and transformed on nearly every level...to the sweet sound of $138 million
dollars! "The transformation is amazing combining a modern décor
that is aesthetically very pleasing, with a noticeably high-tech feel,"

Team (GET). The Nashville, TN based organization held a 700 member meeting
at the venue in January 2008 and according to Blankenship, "The Atlanta

This premier meeting destination is home to more than 160,000 square-feet of versatile meeting space, and the world's largest atrium, soaring 47-stories, complimented by 1,663 exquisitely designed guest rooms and 94 spectacular suites. Planners will discover that every inch of existing space was masterfully redefined to accommodate 21st century meeting needs. Sixty-one meeting rooms are strategically clustered in 11 dedicated meeting zones, offering optimum versatility and privacy for several groups to conduct business concurrently. The 42,818 square-feet of additional meeting space now available on the Atrium Level includes the new 25,000 square-foot Atrium Ballroom opening July 2008, with floor to ceiling windows and 30-foot ceilings, accommodating 2,000 comfortably for a one-of-a-kind experience.
