PARSIPPANY, N.J. (Jan. 7, 2008) - Wyndham Hotel Group today announced the grand opening of the first newly constructed Wingate by Wyndham hotel, a 99-room property in Henderson, Nev.

The hotel is the first to be built since the Wingate brand affiliated with the Wyndham® Hotels and Resorts brand last May, a move designed to leverage marketing, sales and training and reach an expanded consumer base.

To formalize the relationship, the Wingate brand was renamed Wingate® by Wyndham and a redesigned brand logo was introduced.

�We celebrate the opening of the Wingate by Wyndham Henderson hotel, the first new-construction property to display our new logo, said Bill Hall, brand senior vice president. �This property�s owner, Steve Sparks, has been a member of our brand family for more than nine years, and this is the third hotel he has brought into our system.�

The Wingate by Wyndham Henderson hotel features 22 suites, 3,000 square feet of meeting space, 24-hour fitness and business centers and an outdoor heated pool and spa.

All Wingate by Wyndham guest rooms function both as a bedroom and an office with a desk, speakerphone and cordless phone with voicemail and conference-call capabilities, a safe, iron and ironing board and an in-room coffeemaker. Beds feature enhanced pillow-top style mattresses.

The Wingate by Wyndham all-inclusive pricing policy includes an expanded hot breakfast, high-speed wired and wireless Internet access and use of the business center, including facsimile service and computer printouts.

TripRewards® loyalty club members earn points at Wingate by Wyndham hotels that can be redeemed for hotel stays, airfare, resort vacations and a host of other retail and restaurant experiences.
