Tilo Joos Appointed General Manager of the
Hilton Buenos Aires in Argentina

Miami (January 30, 2008) – Tilo Joos has been appointed general manager of the Hilton Buenos Aires in Argentina.  Tilo most recently served as regional director of sales and marketing, Caribbean and Central America for Hilton Hotels Corporation.
A ten-year Hilton veteran, Tilo began his career with Hilton at the company’s regional office in Caracas, Venezuela.  Since then, Tilo has held several management positions throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, including a term as general manager of the Hilton Colon Quito in Ecuador.  Prior to joining Hilton, Tilo spent several years in the airline industry, where he served as general manager for Lufthansa in Venezuela, Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles.  He holds a masters degree from the Université du Québec à Montréal in Canada.
Located in Puerto Madero, the most recently renovated neighborhood in Buenos Aires, the contemporary Hilton Buenos Aires is just 25 minutes from the international airport.  The hotel welcomes guests to a glass atrium lobby and features 417 guestrooms, including Executive Floor rooms and suites.  Dining options include El Faro signature restaurant and the Mosto Wine Bar, where guests can tempt their palates with an array of international culinary delights and world-renowned wines.  The hotel also boasts the Hilton Health Club and Spa with over 7,500 sq. ft. of workout space, plus an outdoor swimming pool and sun deck.
