Broughton Hospitality Acquiring The Springs Hotel & Spa in Downtown Palm Springs,
California, from White Brothers Investment Company, LLC
.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - February 4, 2008 - Broughton Hospitality Group (BHG), the Newport Beach, CA-based hospitality management and development organization, announced today that it has closed escrow on the multi-million dollar purchase of The Springs Hotel & Spa, located in downtown Palm Springs, CA. BHG will take over ownership and management from the former owner, White Brothers Investment Company, LLC, effective immediately.

Situated in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, The Springs Hotel & Spa is a first class boutique hotel with a history as rich as the citys. Constructed in 1935 as the Royal Palms Hotel, The Springs was one of the most popular downtown courtyard hotels of its time.

Extensively renovated in recent years, the property was recently nominated for the coveted Gold Nugget Award for Architecture and Design. The hotels Spanish Revival design is reflected in such Old World details as hand-forged ironwork balconies, hand-rubbed finishes, and brick pavers. Each of the 25 guestrooms and suites feature elegant Spanish Revival décor, fireplaces, refrigerators and modern marble and stone bathrooms, oversized Jacuzzi tubs and separate walk-in showers.

Were thrilled to be able to add such a great property to our portfolio of boutique hotels, said Larry Broughton, President and CEO, BHG. Its unique character and design, along with its great location in the heart of Palm Springs, makes it the perfect addition to our ever-expanding collection of properties. As Palm Springs continues its expansion and revitalization, The Springs Hotel & Spa will become one of the top hotel destinations downtown.

BHG plans to upgrade all of the rooms with Molton Brown amenities, flat-screen televisions, French Press coffee makers, and mini-bars.
