Matt Vargas Named Director of Sales & Marketing At
The Marriott Teaneck
At Glenpointe; George Lazo Appointed Director of Sales &
Marketing At Hanover Marriott

Resort & Spa, A Marriott Resort, one of the premier resort destinations
in the Northeast, today announced that two members of the property’s management
team, Matt Vargas and George Lazo, have been promoted to executive level
positions within the Marriott Eastern region family. Matt Vargas,
Director of Group Sales at Seaview, has been promoted to Director of Sales
& Marketing at the Marriott Teaneck at Glenpointe, Teaneck, New Jersey
while George Lazo, currently a Senior Account Executive at Seaview, has
been named the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Hanover Marriott,
Whippany, New Jersey.

Vargas and Lazo will each assume greater responsibility supervising all strategic sales and marketing initiatives for the respective properties, including all group business, (corporate, association, special markets, etc.), as well as transient customers.
Prior to joining the Seaview management team in 2001, Vargas served
in sales management positions at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Seattle,
WA, and Bally’s Park Place Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.
