Nance Trevithick Named the Director
of Group and Incentive Sales at
The Resort at Pelican Hill on Southern
California's Newport Coast

Coast, Southern California, October 18, 2007 - Nance Trevithick has
been named the director of group and incentive sales at The Resort at Pelican
Hill, the extraordinary destination resort The Irvine Company Resort
Properties is creating overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Southern California's
Newport Coast.
In her new position, Trevithick will oversee the group sales efforts and assist in positioning the resort as a premier incentive destination. The Resort at Pelican Hill is a masterpiece in the making, promising to establish a new paradigm for resort style, comfort and beauty. The principles of Italy's most renowned Renaissance architect are being blended with stylish California casual elegance. It is opening in two phases: Pelican Hill Golf Club, with 36 holes by Tom Fazio and a signature restaurant, in November 2007; all other components - 204 bungalows, 128 villas, 20,000 square feet of function space for every type of event, luxurious spa with 22 treatment rooms, wedding chapel, world-class restaurants and Coliseum pool - in fall 2008. "Nance not only has strong operational experience and excellent contacts, but she is one of the most talented, enthusiastic and customer-oriented sales executives in the industry," said Ellen Adelman, vice president of sales and marketing for The Resort at Pelican Hill. Trevithick comes to The Resort at Pelican Hill with more than 20 years of experience at luxury hotels and resorts in the U.S, including the past 12 years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Most recently, she was the Director of Sales at Four Seasons Resort Aviara in San Diego. Previously she was in operations at the Four Seasons Hotel Boston, Four Seasons Resort Santa Barbara and was Director of Sales at Loews Coronado Bay Resort, San Diego. The Irvine Company Resort Properties owns and manages the finest resort and leisure destinations on the Newport Coast and in the City of Irvine.
