The opening of the Renaissance Glendale exemplifies John Q. Hammons’ aggressive development efforts in the Western U.S., as the legendary hotelier has recently announced new properties in Colorado, Utah and Idaho.

Located in the heart of the developing Westgate City Center at 9495 W. Coyotes Boulevard, the Renaissance Glendale offers guests 33 suites, including three presidential suites and two concierge levels, an outdoor swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an indoor lap pool and more. Inspired by the desert sunsets, the décor of the hotel, lobby, restaurant and guest rooms reflects the area’s natural beauty with accents of vibrant orange and yellow hues, while fire features, colored glass sculptures and palm trees extend the desert theme throughout the property.

The property also features a two-story John Q. Hammons’ signature Spa Botanica, offering manicures, pedicures, massage, body treatments, facials and waxing. The hotel’s Spa Botanica has eight indoor treatment rooms and a private outdoor retreat with seven cabanas, a pool and a whirlpool.

Luxury hotel accommodations like the Renaissance within walking distance of so many sports and entertainment venues complete the total experience visitors want when making their travel choices.”

Hotel staff celebrated the property’s opening all week, culminating many months of hard work leading up to the successful opening. The celebration at the Renaissance Glendale continues with a VIP event for city leaders, local business owners and area dignitaries on October 30. Formal grand opening activities with the public are expected to take place in November.
