Anuraag Mullick Elected to the Board of AH&LA
October 16, 2007 - Anuraag Mullick, CHA, was recently elected
to serve on the Board of Directors for the American Hotel & Lodging
Association (AH&LA). Mr. Mullick is the General Manager and Partner
of the Days Inn Hotel & Conference Center, Meadville, PA.
AH&LA is the sole national association representing all sectors and stakeholders in the lodging industry. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., AH&LA provides members with national advocacy on Capitol Hill, public relations and image management, education, research and information, and other value-added services to provide bottom line savings and ensure a positive business climate for the lodging industry. Mr. Mullick is very active in voluntary activities on the national, state and local levels. He was elected to the Franchise Advisory Board of the Days Inn worldwide in 2005. Currently, he serves on the Boards of Directors of the Pennsylvania Tourism & Lodging Association, Crawford County Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Meadville Chamber of Commerce. He is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and also holds an accredited Master¹s degree in Hotel Management from Trust Forte Corp. in NY. The PA Tourism & Lodging Association is a private, non-profit, membership-based association that exists to advocate, support, promote and enhance the tourism and lodging industry within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It provides lobbying, education and professional development opportunities, information and other resources as well as value-adding services to its members to ensure their�and the industry¹s�ongoing growth and success. |
