Benchmark Hospitality Appoints Mara Xenos Director of
Conference Services
for Eaglewood Resort & Spa, Itasca, Illinois

Woodlands (Houston), Texas, November 2007 - Benchmark Hospitality International
has announced the appointment of Mara Xenos, CMP, as director of conference
services for Eaglewood Resort & Spa, located in Itasca, Illinois, in
the Chicagoland region. Greg Parsons, managing director for the resort,
made the announcement.
"I'm so pleased to announce the promotion of Mara Xenos," said Mr. Parsons. "She is an exemplary leader and will be a superb department head in this important area of our business." Ms. Xenos was previously the assistant director of conference services for Eaglewood Resort & Spa, a position she held since 2002. Before joining Benchmark Hospitality at Eaglewood Resort, she was conference planning supervisor for Andersen Worldwide - Center for Professional Education, located in St. Charles, Illinois. Mara Xenos began her hospitality career in positions of increasing responsibility in sales and convention services for the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation at properties in Schaumburg and Rosemont, Illinois. Her first professional position was in food & beverage management. Ms. Xenos is a graduate of the College of DuPage of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, with an Associates degree in Business and General Studies, and a second Associates degree in Applied Science in Travel and Tourism.
