Benchmark Hospitality Appoints Mark Galbreith,
Director of Sales at Lansdowne Resort
The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, November 2007 ... Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Mark Galbreith as director of sales for Lansdowne Resort, the company’s east coast flagship property located 30 miles west of Washington, DC near Leesburg, Virginia. Warren Breaux, Benchmark’s director of sales & marketing at the resort, made the announcement.
"I am so pleased to welcome Mark to Lansdowne Resort,” said Mr. Breaux. “He brings important experience in the meetings industry and key customer relationships within the MidAtlantic market to his new role at our property.”
Mark Galbreith comes to Lansdowne Resort with over 17 years of hospitality experience. He was previously the director of corporate sales for the Wardman Park Marriott, located in Washington, DC.
Mr. Galbreith has held several positions of increasing responsibility in hospitality sales, many of these at Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles Hotel in Chantilly, Virginia. These positions included senior account executive, senior sales manager, and senior catering manager, which was his first role with the property.
Earlier in his career, Galbreith held responsibilities as director of restaurants for the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church Virginia.
Mark Galbreith is a graduate of North Carolina Central University, located in Durham. He has relocated to Ashburn, Virginia.
