J-4 Development and JL Burke Contracting Building Hickory Creek Resort
and Indoor Water Park in Chicago Southland


 
MOKENA, IL (November 19, 2007) � J-4 Development and JL Burke Contracting, both of Mokena, announce development of Hickory Creek Resort and Indoor Water Park.  Ground breaking is scheduled in 2008 and opening in late 2009.

Situated on 25 acres near the intersection of I-80 and La Grange Road, in the heart of Chicago Southland; Hickory Creek Resort will include a 40,000 square foot world-class indoor water park, a 105 single and dual key full service themed hotel, a 120 room extended stay franchised hotel, 8,000 square foot arcade, themed restaurants, gift shops, 80,000 square foot year round sports academy, 4 multi purpose sports fields, 94,500 square feet of mixed use office and commercial space and 2 multi level parking structures.

Hickory Creek Resort and Indoor Water Park is owned by J-4 Development, LLC and will be professionally managed by American Resort Management, LLC (www.americanresortmanagement.com)  who has teamed with national and local industry leaders and experts on this project including: White Water Inc., Hotel and Leisure Advisors, Aumiller Youngquist, PC Architects and others bringing a proven, successful and experienced group of professionals to the design, development and operational success of Water Park, Hotels, Sporting and Commercial Developments.

The resort and sports complex will provide year round training to athletes of all ages creating a unique experience for sports enthusiasts, teams and families looking for a complete entertainment experience while training, competing or just taking a short get away from the high speed Chicago lifestyle.
