AUSTIN, TEXAS, USA (November 14, 2007) Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) announced today that the Second Annual Caribbean Hospitality Finance and Technology Professionals Conference will be relocated to the Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort, Rose Hall, Jamaica, because of construction delays. The conference, which focuses on regional topics of interest in the hospitality finance and technology fields, is quickly approaching and hospitality professionals are encouraged to register online now at www.hftp.org. The conference, produced by HFTP and sponsored by Caribbean Hotel Association (CHA), will take place December 10-11, 2007.

Unfortunately, construction at the previous conference site will not be completed in time for the conference, said Frank Wolfe, CAE, CEO of HFTP. However, the Ritz-Carlton is a breathtaking resort that will provide a unique experience for attendees of the Caribbean Hospitality Finance and Technology Professionals Conference.

Part of Jamaicas historic 5,000-acre Rose Hall Plantation, the Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort, Rose Hall, Jamaica, combines old world charm and modern-day conveniences with generous living space. The AAA Five Diamond resort offers deluxe accommodations, 18-hole Von Hagge-designed White Witch Golf Course, a private beach with pristine sand, easy access to Montego Bay and transportation arrangements to and from Sangster International Airport. HFTP has secured a special rate for conference attendees at the resort. To take advantage of the discounted rate, make reservations by November 15.

HFTP designed an agenda for the conference that aligns with the interests of Caribbean hospitality industry professionals and provides an opportunity for open discussion. The education program will include regional topics such as disaster recovery and planning, local fraud detection resources and more. Along with the education sessions, tabletop displays and excellent networking opportunities will be offered. The conference also provides one of the last opportunities to earn CPE credits for the year.

If you have any questions about the conference, please contact Linnet Baskett, HFTP meetings & events manager, at [email protected] or 001 (512) 249-5333 x31.
