Franklin Smith Named Director of Sales and Marketing for
the
Renaissance Concourse Hotel, Atlanta, Georgia
ATLANTA � (November 2, 2007) The award-winning, AAA Four-Diamond
Renaissance Concourse Hotel in south Atlanta has promoted Franklin Smith
from director of group sales to director of sales and marketing.
Smith is responsible for oversight of the sales and marketing business
strategy and its full sales division. He oversees group, transient,
association and corporate sales, manages and oversees the complete sales
budget and serves as a member on the Renaissance Concourse�s executive
board.
Smith was the director of group sales for more than two years. He has been in the hotel industry 20 years, including 14 years with the Renaissance brand. Smith is a member of the Georgia MPI, Georgia Business Travel Association and National Business Travel Association, and he has received the Golden Circle, Golden Circle Chairman�s and Golden Circle President�s awards.� All are Marriott sales and excellence awards. Smith is a 1998 graduate of the College of Wooster in Wooster, OH.
