Innkeepers USA Opens the Embassy Suites Valencia

California Property Features Brand�s New Prototype Design

MEMPHIS, Tenn.- November 2, 2007 - Embassy Suites Hotels, the leading brand of upscale, all-suite hotels, nears its goal of 300 hotels by 2010 with the opening today of its first property in California�s Santa Clarita Valley, the Embassy Suites Valencia. The hotel opened today at 28508 Westinghouse Place in Valencia, California and is owned by Innkeepers USA and managed by Island Hospitality, marking the first Embassy Suites in the company�s portfolio.

�We could not be happier to bring the Embassy Suites concept to Valencia, increasing the brand�s presence in Southern California, which is a key market for us,� said Jim Holthouser, senior vice president of brand management, Embassy Suites Hotels. �Bringing our friends at Island Hospitality into the Embassy Suites family, meets a strategic goal of broadening our developer base and increasing the number of Embassy Suites properties open, under construction or in the pipeline, to 300 by 2010.� 

�Additionally, we are pleased to debut many of the defining characteristics of the Design Option III prototype, giving our guests a preview of the new design and a smaller, more intimate Embassy Suites,� added Holthouser. 

Camco Pacific served as the contractor for the hotel, and blended features of the hotel brand�s new prototype design, specifically the hotel�s double-loaded corridors and side-by-side suite design. In addition to the spacious two-room suites, complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast, evening manager�s reception and lush atrium, characteristic of all Embassy Suites Hotels properties, the Embassy Suites Valencia will offer guests an outdoor pool, spa and The Grove, a full service restaurant. The hotel features other guest amenities consistent with all Embassy Suites Hotels, including: two 37 inch flat-screen televisions, two dual-line phones, high-speed internet access, a wet bar, refrigerator, microwave oven, and an iron and ironing board. 

The hotel will provide guests with complimentary high-speed internet access, 24-hour EmbassyLink® Business Center, EmbassyDirect® Registration Kiosk and a complimentary shuttle with service to local corporate offices within five miles, local entertainment and shopping. The hotel is a great venue for meetings and events with a Grand Ballroom spanning 4,456 square feet and a separate state-of-the-art Board Room with 500 square feet.
