DALLAS (Nov. 5, 2007) � Pegasus Solutions announced it has named industry veteran Darin McAuliffe, vice president of distribution solutions. In this role, McAuliffe will manage Pegasus� business development with non-traditional alternative distribution systems (ADS), including meetings, groups, tour, and wholesale, among others. Mike Kistner, chief operating officer and president, reservation and distribution services, said McAuliffe was chosen based on his deep-rooted industry acumen. �With close to 25 years of experience in the industry, we are confident Darin has the expertise and industry knowledge to drive Pegasus� development with non-traditional distribution systems,� said Kistner. �Darin�s impressive track record speaks to his ability to tap into emerging markets and this makes him an invaluable asset to both the distribution services team and the company as a whole.� Prior to joining Pegasus, McAuliffe most recently held the office of the president and was a member of the Board of Directors of Hotel Booking Solutions (HBSi), the company he co-founded in 2002 as Hotel Booking Solutions, LLC. Prior to HSBi, McAuliffe made significant advancements in the hospitality industry through Internet-related ventures. He co-founded both Turbotrip.com, an online travel booking engine, and NewOrleans.com, an extensive travel portal providing hospitality businesses with Internet marketing, Web site development, hosting and e-commerce solutions.
